General content guidelines

What works best

What to avoid

Cricket colour conflicts

Due to the direct line of sight with the players and umpires on the field, there are careful considerations required in relation to on ground displays and the colour of the ball being used.

Stadium content will be subject to sign off by the ICC match officials within 24 hours of the match. During the season if there is a request from the players, content colours may also need to be changed.

There will be a screening of content to the ICC match officials before the season commences.

This screening is shortly after the first deadline of the season. It is recommended that you have your content delivered in time for this viewing, so you don’t run the risk of last minute changes.

MINT - Test Match

Uses a red ball, so if you have a large amount of red in your creative, you should consider supplying a non-red version as a back up.

MINT - Test Match (Adelaide / The Gabba)

These are day/night tests and use a pink ball, so if you have a large amount of pink/red/orange in your creative, you should consider supplying a non-pink/red/orange version as a back up.

MINT - T20 / ODI

Uses a white ball, so if you have a large amount of white in your creative, you should consider supplying a dulled or reverse option as a back up.

BBL

Uses a white ball, so if you have a large amount of white in your creative, you should consider supplying a dulled or reverse option as a back up.

Due to common cricket camera angles, the right most 300px of the sight screen is seen in close-up quite often.

Consider having a smaller logo, or other key component of your content on the right of your designs to make the most of this.

Due to varying physical sight screen sizes used throughout the season, this assets requires a large title safe area. Do not put any text or important elements in this area.

Sight screen spec

You are able to supply static or animated content for this space.

If creating animated content for in-match display, you will need to also provide a static version of your creative for use during play.

Animated content may loop several times before play begins, so we recommend making your content loop.
